Last chapter, Yoshi was tested through the Trial Galaxies, and with M. Para Koopa's help, he made it. He also fixed everything between him and M., and they have rebuilt their friendship. Let's see what happens next... "I am deeply sorry, Mario. There's nothing I could do at this point..." Dr. Richard Shroom alerted Mario. He, Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach and Pink Yoshi were at the lobby of Peach's Castle, seeing if they could bring Yoshi back. "There must be something! I won't take no as an answer!" Mario yelled, but Luigi calmed him down. "Yoshi can't be gone..." Pink said to herself, saddened. She and Yoshi were very good friends. "We must have hope, everyone." Peach assured. She didn't have anything to back her point up, but she knew there could be a solution. Suddenly, the doctor noticed something. "Everyone! The body, it's moving!!" Richard said, alarmed, as Yoshi's hand slightly moved. Everyone stared, suspenseful, and scared. The wound Yoshi had in his chest slowly healed and vanished. Then, Yoshi opened his eyes, blinking several times to get used to the light. "Woah... Am... Am I alive?..." Yoshi asked, while sitting up. Everyone looked, speechless. Yoshi had revived. "No, no way." Toad muttered. "I knew it! ...." Peach added, smiling. "Maybe your hope brought him back..." Pink Yoshi said, wiping a tear off her eye. "Hi guys... What happened?" Yoshi said, recalling the trials and all. He lightly blushed when he saw Pink Yoshi. "Yoshi, you're alive! Oh my goodness..." Mario said happily. "Yeah... It wasn't easy... But I'm here..." Yoshi said, remembering the last Trial Galaxy. "What do you mean?" Luigi asked. "Oh, nothing. Nothing." Yoshi replied, and looked at the ceiling, then back at everyone else. "I can't believe this! There was no chance you could have made it! The wound even faded..." Richard said, surprised. He took notes on the matter. "Well, that isn't of much importance now... What matters is that Yoshi, he's alive. He didn't leave us so soon. I'm so glad you're here, Yosh." Mario said, and smiled. Yoshi smiled back. "Yep..." "And that 'friend' of yours is also gone for good. He is no longer a threat to you." Mario added, and Yoshi's eyes widened. "M. Para Koopa! I need to see him!" Yoshi yelled, and stood up, much to Mario's distaste. "No! He was never your friend, Yoshi." "He was! It was all a mistake! But I fixed it! I need to see him!" Yoshi said, and ignoring Mario's other words, ran to the exit, everyone stayed surprised. But instead, an explosion rattled the place, and knocked the doors and front wall off, sending Yoshi back. "What was that?! Are we being attacked?!" Toad said, distressed. Then, the perpetrator entered the room, in his broom. "Well well well, I didn't want to miss Yoshi's funeral. Has it started?" Kamek said, and laughed. The 2 Toads shyed away. The Mario Bros., Peach and Pink Yoshi looked at him in disgust. "Oh come on. You know it will happ-" Kamek managed to say before seeing something. "No... No way. NO. WAY." He rubbed his eyes under his glasses, and looked again. Yoshi was standing there, alive. "Kamek!" "Yoshi..." "You have not gotten rid of me, nor M. Para Koopa! I'll quote your letter you sent with that dastardly 'gift'." Yoshi said, and everyone else muttered among themselves. "'You have solved nothing. You defeated me and left like it was nothing.'" "No... NO! Impossible! Not even your worst of nightmares can keep you dormant!" Kamek yelled, furious. "But it doesn't matter. I still have one last trick for you all!" Kamek continued, and struck a spell on Peach, making her dissapear. "PEACH!" Mario screamed, and the Toads panicked. "I will stop whatever you're planning." Yoshi said, and his eyes went red. "Sure. Before I leave, one last thing." Kamek said back, and shot a spell on Pink Yoshi, striking her and sending her to a wall. "Agh!! What's the idea!..." Pink said, worried. "No, no, and NO!" Yoshi yelled, and the red aura slowly faded in around him. He couldn't bear to see his friends get hurt. "Don't waste energy, Yoshi boy. You all will die, anyways." Kamek said, and laughed hysterically, to then zoom off in his broom. "The Princess! We have to rescue her!" Luigi said to Mario, scared. "I know! But where did she get taken?!" Mario replied, being Bowser's Castle the first thing that entered his mind. "I don't know, but that last trick thing didn't sound good..." Luigi said, and looked to Yoshi. "Yoshi, are you okay?!" "Yes... We need to chase Kamek. We need to stop him!" Yoshi yelled as his red aura quickly faded, and his eyes returned blue. Then, he ran off the castle, the Mario Bros. Following. On the way outside, meteors were falling everywhere from the night sky. Toads ran about, distressed and scared. Some turned into crystals, others got flung away. "I think Bowser's invading! But I don't see any ships..." Mario said, and looked around. "No? L-l-look up!!" Luigi responded, and pointed to the sky, horrified. A giant, blue battleship with yellow, missile-esque things on front, could be seen from the sky, standing, and shooting the meteors. "The Dreadnought..." Yoshi said out loud, while looking. He knew that place had things within, and it was finally being put to use. "The what?" Mario asked, puzzled. "The Dreadnought is a high class ship with extraordinary capabilites. I think Peach got taken there, so Peach, Kamek and Bowser must be there!" Yoshi explained. "I might know how to get there." "Then tell us!" Luigi said. They had to make haste. "Alright, stay here, I'll be right back." Yoshi said, and ran off to his house. "I'll have to reveal my secret... But it doesn't matter. It all depends on that Launch Star." Yoshi thought. He had to use his well kept secret. He didn't want to, but it all depended on getting there through it. Just then, he saw a crystal near his house. "Who's that?" When he approached it, it was M. Para Koopa, frozen on it. "Phew... He's alive... He made it..." Yoshi sighed in relief. M. Para Koopa was alive as well. He smashed the crystal with his hammer, breaking the Koopa free. "Woah! Man, what happened?..." M. Para Koopa yelled, and then looked at Yoshi. "You're alive!" Yoshi said, joyful. "Yeah! I'm here... You are too..." M. Para Koopa said back, feeling emotional. "Yes. I'm very glad. However, we have no time to waste. Kamek is attacking the Mushroom Kingdom with the Dreadnought, so we need to get there." Yoshi explained. "Really?! I'll come with you. Koopa might tag along, and I want to give him a little surprise..." M. Para Koopa replied, feeling ready. "Alright. However, I'll have to use my Launch Star to get us and my other friends there." Yoshi said. "Aw man, your-- Well, our secret!" "I know, but we need to. I'll just move it and act like I found it. Now, let's go. We're going to finish Kamek once and for all." Yoshi continued, and offered his hand for a shake. M. Obliged gladly, and shook his hand. "I am here for you, every step of the way, friend." M. Para Koopa said, confidently. Soon after, they returned to the Mario Bros. With the Launch Star. "Alright guys, I found a one-way ticket to the Dreadnought!" Yoshi said. "Awesome! Let's a go!" Mario said, and jumped. His smile turned into a angered frown when he saw M. Para Koopa. "Yoshi... He's here... He's alive!" Mario yelled, angered. "Yes. But listen. He IS my friend. And he will help us defeat Kamek." Yoshi strictly stated. "I'll tell you everything once we finish this. But he will come along to help us." "Better be..." Luigi said quickly. "Alright. Let's go, everyone." Yoshi said, and took off using the Launch Star. M. Para Koopa went second, Mario third and Luigi last. Shortly after, our heroes landed on the back of the grand ship itself, The Dreadnought. The sky was starry, and the Earth could be clearly seen. It all looked pretty somber, but this was it. The last flight had been taken. "This is where it ends, Kamek. This ship will be stopped, and so will be you." Yoshi declared, with hammer in hand. Everyone nodded in approval. "This place is as eerie as last time, still." M. Para Koopa said, and shuddered. "Mario... Is this place safe?" Luigi asked. "Not at all. But it won't be a hurdle for none of us." Mario answered. "Time for the final fight." Yoshi and M. Para Koopa said in unison. The four prepared for the final.
