When things seemed most dire, and it was all at the point of defeat, the stars reunited, and aided the hero on his final fight. Yoshi had emerged victorious against Kamek, who now, along with The Dreadnought and Koopa, was no more. Now, everyone rejoiced at Peach's Castle for the grand celebration of Yoshi's victory. "They should be here any second!" Mario commented to Luigi and Peach. The door opened, and Yoshi and M. Para Koopa entered. Everyone applauded, cheered and wooed for them. There were Toads, Yoshis and Koopas about. "Wow... Awesome!" M. Para Koopa looked around in awe. "You guys deserve it. You saved us all." Peach approached the friends, and smiled. "It was tough, but we made it." Yoshi said, confident. "Great job, Yoshi. You have great potential on you, and you demonstrated it well, by fighting to the end. I'm very proud of you, my friend." Mario told Yoshi. Yoshi smiled greatly. "Thank you." M. Para Koopa looked around, wondering what should he do first. Eat something, play with a Nintendo Switch that was set up with a TV to play, or explore the castle. Then, Gooms approached him. "Hey there bud! I can't believe you saved the whole place, and killed Kamek!" Gooms said, amazed. "Thanks, but I didn't really kill Kamek... Yoshi did. I defeated Bowser though..." M. Para Koopa replied. "Wait what?! No way. You took on that big bad brute all alone?!" Gooms asked frantically. It was hard to believe such a thing. "Practically, yes! I pushed him off the ship, and he fell down! But I doubt he died. You know how resilient he is." M. Para Koopa said back. "I know. But you know what, you need to brag that! Tell it to everyone! Heck, even exaggerate the details! Say that you beat him up! PUNCH! POW! ZAM!" Gooms said, kicking around excitedly. "No, not like that, heh. I'll tell, but I need to be humble." M. Para Koopa said honestly. "Oh well. Whatever floats your boat! I'll reunite some guys up!" Gooms shrugged, and ran off. "Okay! Hey, Yoshi, I'll be over with some buddies talking. See ya around here." M. Para Koopa told Yoshi. "Alright! Have fun. This is our party, after all." Yoshi replied, patting M. In his shoulder. M. Smiled, and went over to Gooms, who had some Koopas rounded up. Yoshi smiled, as some Yoshis approached him. "Hey dude! You're so awesome! What you did is legendary!" Black Yoshi said. "Yeah! Mario told us everything, we're amazed!" Yellow Yoshi added. "Heh, thanks, guys! I'm glad everything turned out okay." Yoshi replied. "However, we told Pink everything! She should be here... There she is!" Black said as he pointed out to Pink Yoshi, who was approaching the group. "Guys, really? I... Well..." Yoshi stuttered, feeling nervous. "Nah, don't worry! We'll leave you two alone! Spend some time! And besides, you lived that, so you can tell her better!" Yellow said, patted Yoshi on the back, and he and Black dashed off to a corner, leaving a nervous Yoshi and Pink Yoshi, who right got there. "Hi Yoshi! Those two told me what you did!" Pink said happily. "Yeah... They did... Heh..." Yoshi replied, lightly blushing. "It's awesome! You defeated Kamek, and exploded his ship and stuff! You're so brave!" Pink said, blushing as well as she said that last part. "Thanks! But, it's nothing big. I did it to save everyone, especially you." Yoshi said, but covered his mouth and started shaking. "Did I really say that..." "Ha, ha! That's great! I knew you liked me..." Pink Yoshi said back, and smiled. "What? No! Not at all! That's qui-" Yoshi got interrupted when Pink kissed him in the cheek, making him blush even more. "Dude, SHE KISSED HIM!" Yellow yelled, and smiled. "I knew it!! True love exists!!! I'm fainting!" Black slightly overreacted (in a good way), and pretended to faint. "I-I-I... Y-you... U-uh..." Yoshi tried to say something, but he couldn't. He was quite shocked by the kiss. "Just a little thing, to celebrate your victory!" Pink said, and chuckled. "See ya around, Yosh!" She smiled, waved at a still stuttering and blushing Yoshi, and left. "Aha! Ain't that cute! I knew you guys had a thing for each other!" Mario approached Yoshi, and winked at him. "O-o-oh my... Sh-she called me, Y-Yosh..." Yoshi said, and fainted. "It was too much for him, wasn't it?" Peach asked. "I think so! Ha ha! Young Yoshi love..." Mario responded, and chuckled. Black and Yellow Yoshi continued yelling and being surprised all over. Some time later, after the party, Yoshi and M. Para Koopa flew off to the Good Egg Galaxy. To the same spot as some time ago, in the bottom half of the starting planet, in a slightly grassy area. They sat down, and contemplated the stars. "Wow... It's still hard for me to believe.... That it's all over." Yoshi talked, amazed. "I agree. Everything was very intense... But it all felt so fast." M. Para Koopa replied. "Yep. Kamek is now definetly gone. There is no way he can come back now." Yoshi said. "Indeed... Koopa as well. The chase, the torment... It's all over." M. Para Koopa said, and sighed in relief. "The adventure is finished.... Although tough, I'll miss everything we went through. All the challenges and places we visited." Yoshi said, slightly tearing up. "I know..." M. Para Koopa agreed, and stared at a star bit he had in his hand. "Huh... Remember when we first met?" Yoshi asked, and looked at M. Para Koopa. "Yep. I remember it clearly. Clearly like the stars." M. Para Koopa said back, and memories raced through their heads. "Hey, are you from here?" "Nope, I just landed here, a friend kicked me up here... Heh..." - "Hey, how about we partner up together?" "Uhh, alright! I think I know how to get out of here..." "Remember when you first saved me?" Yoshi asked. "Of course. That's when our friendship truly solidified." M. Para Koopa answered, and another memory raced. "You... You saved me?!" "Yeah... I was going through here, and decided to help you..." "And don't worry. I also remember when you got tested with a mind control helmet, and I battled you free." M. Para Koopa added. "Me? Bud?! Ha, perhaps you're a traitor to King Bowser!" "What?! He's 100% controlled, then!" - "Augh... Man, I owe you two." "No, don't worry. Hey, we found a star!" "Yup... And I remember when I repaid all your favors, saving you from Kamek. I used the power of the star that I kept when you saved me from the Dreadnought." Yoshi commented. "Wow... Am I dead?!" "No, I caught you!" "Yoshi?! What are you doing here?!" "I'm here to save you, of course!" - "Wow... Kamek's down..." "Yep... But, why did you save me?" "Well, you saved me twice, and I wanted to return the favor. Besides, we are friends, right?" "Everything got very tough afterwards, but we made it through. We almost separated entirely our friendship, but it was erroneous by my fault. I would never abandon the friend that gave me a whole new perspective on the world, and stood by my side." M. Para Koopa said, almost crying. "I... I am glad, you think that. I'm always proud to know I helped someone. And so greatly." Yoshi replied. "Thanks for everything, friend." M. Para Koopa said happily. "Friend hug?" "Friend hug." Yoshi nodded and both hugged each other. Everything had turned out great, and their friendship was as bright as ever. "Now, let's get back to admiring the space sky, shall we?" M. Para Koopa suggested. "Yes." Yoshi replied, and both let go of each other. They smiled, sat in the small bushes, and kept contemplating the stars and Earth, from their majestic view. And so ends the tale of the now everlasting friendship of a Yoshi and a Koopa, its bond strengthened by all their galactic journeys. It is said that they still traverse through all reaches of the Galaxy, exploring. The stars are at their side at all times. [-The End.-] Author's Note from the original chapter: Well. This is it. A grand tale of a friendship, and the galaxies, sadly, has come to a close. This book has been one of my most loved pieces of art I have ever written. Originating from a simple, much shorter roleplay session, I adapted the tale into something that would be of great amazingness for the world to see.
