Our heroes are in a tricky situation, with a friend turned against them and entire areas in trouble! Will the Mario Bros. put this chaos to rest?! Let's find out! "Huh, these vents are cleaner than I expected, since we're in Bowser's Place..." Luigi commented, loooking around the short space he and Mario were crawling about. "Yeah... For a big bad brute, Bowser sure knows about castle manteinance." Mario replied. "Don't you think he might want everything to look clean, just for Princess Peach?" Luigi said. "I guess... Even if she despises this place no matter what." Mario added. "Don't we all?" Luigi said, and laughed. Mario laughed as well. They continued moving, until they ended up in a seemingly normal room. "Where are we?" Luigi asked while looking around. The room seemed to lead to a balcony. "Looks like some sort of balcony. " Mario said while exiting to it. "Although from all this fog and dark I can't quite see anything.." "Yep... Hey look!" Luigi said as he noticed something near the castle's entrance, from what he could see, and pointed at it. "What is it?!" Mario brushed his eyes to get a clearer view, and looked where Luigi pointed. He could see Yoshi, ordering many Yoshis to get in a certain spot, and not too far from that, a cage holding various Yoshis. "He managed to get them! We need to act fast!" Luigi said, alarmed. "I dont't think that will be possible." A voice called out to them. The brothers turned around, and there was Kamek. "I see you guys have managed to escape. But this is as far as you'll get!" He declared, and pointed the wand at them. "We'll see about that!" Mario said, putting himself in a battle position. "Uhh... Wait, let me get my equipment!" Luigi said hastily, and Kamek shot a spell at him, but he dodged. "HEY!" "That doesn't matter Luigi! Bring it on, Kamek!" Mario yelled, and ran towards Kamek. Both started an intense fight, Mario jumping and punching, while Kamek used his magic. "Jumps ahoy!" Mario said as he prepared to jump on Kamek. "Zap ahoy!" Kamek replied, and instead shot an electric spell at Mario, zapping him midair. "AHHH!!!" Mario fell to the floor, dizzied and burnt. "Mamma mia..." "Not so fast!" Luigi said, holding up a Super Leaf, and turned into Raccoon Luigi. "I doubt your power up will be of any effectiveness." Kamek commented, and prepared for an attack. "Your taunts will not do that either!" Luigi bravely responded, and flew towards Kamek. As he neared Kamek, the latter easily deflected him with a sudden shield, making Luigi slip to the ground. "Ow!" "I told you." Kamek chuckled, but then he felt as something jumped on him, making him fall to the ground. "HEY!" "Forgot about me?" Mario said as he landed beside Luigi. "No... But this fight is a little, unbalanced, might I say!" Kamek replied. "Yeah, and?" "I think a 2v2 would be more fair." Kamek said, stood up, and summoned Yoshi beside him. "Do you need me?" "Yes. Help me finish out the Mario Bros. Here!" Kamek said, and pointed to the Mario Bros. "With pleasure!" Yoshi nodded, and dashed towards Mario. "Oh great, the least who I wanted to fight!" Luigi said, annoyed. "Well, I love my friend, but if a beating they want, a beating they will get! Maybe that'll snap Yoshi out. This fight starts now!" Mario declared, and dodged Yoshi's first attack. Mario fought Yoshi while Luigi fought Kamek. The latter was instead weaker than when alone, because he had to command Yoshi. "And another one!" Luigi said, punching Kamek yet again. "That's it! This is not supposed to be happening! Here you go!!" Kamek yelled, and sent a flurry of spells towards Luigi. "Oh NO!!" Luigi tried to run away, but some of the spells hit him, flinging him to the balcony's edge and turning him back to normal Luigi. "Aw, my power up!" "Yikes, Yoshi's a better fighter than I remember!" Mario said, landing a few hits. "I am sure us Yoshis have always been very skilled in our tasks." Yoshi replied, grabbed Mario and threw him to the balcony's edge. "Wah!! This isn't very good!! Lend me a hand Luigi!" Mario called out, but Luigi was nowhere to be seen. "Luigi... This is not a joke!" "Ha ha, either he cowarded out or gave up. Yoshi! Finish him!" Kamek commanded, while laughing. "Yes!" Yoshi nodded and grabbed Mario by one hand, ready to throw him off. "Wait, no no no!! What are you doing?!" Mario said scared trying to set himself free. "I am just doing my job. To eliminate you." Yoshi stated solemnly. "HAVE AT YOU!!!" Luigi screamed, while falling from the roof in an epic manner, jumped on Kamek, and fell in Yoshi's saddle. "GAH!!" The evil pair screamed from both surprise and pain. Yoshi's control had been severed. "Wow!" Mario gasped as Yoshi let him go, and rushed to a corner. "What's the matter! Can't ride?!" Luigi yelled, trying to stay on Yoshi. "You can't do that!! I am not to be ridden!!" Yoshi yelled back, moving about, when Mario grabbed him by a leg and made him fall to the ground. "What do we do with him, Mario?!" Luigi asked, stepping off Yoshi. "I don't know! Let's get Kamek there! He's weakened!" Mario said, looking at Kamek, who was still on the floor, trashed. "Not yet! Get back here!" Kamek yelled, and shot a spell at Mario. "Mamma Mia!" Mario moved to aside, and the spell hit Yoshi, who was just standing up. "What the- AHH!!!" The spell hit him, and he collapsed to the floor. "Yoshi!" "Argh... You idiots... Doesn't matter if Yoshi's controlled or not! I was just buying you guys time so we can invade the Mushroom Kingdom with our extended army! But I'll call retreat for me." Kamek explained. "What?!" "Very funny! You're getting away because you have the pendant!" Mario said, angered. "Yeah, sure! But I no longer hold it! You'll never find where Bowser is!!" Kamek said, but then covered his mouth suddenly. ".... Damn it..." "So Bowser has it!" Luigi said. "Yeah! Well, then, why don't you take your day off, Kamek?" Mario said, and grabbed Kamek by an arm, the one he was holding his wand with. "Hey! Let me go! I have screwed up enough!" Kamek said. "Yeah sure! Hasta la vista, Magikoopa!" Mario said, and threw Kamek off the balcony. "AHHHH!!!" Kamek's scream echoed as he fell down for quite awhile. "Well, that's one baddie down." Luigi said, and sighed in relief. "Argh.. what's happening?" Yoshi said, standing up and looking around. "Yoshi! You're back!" Mario said, noticing Yoshi, and walked to him. "... Where's Kamek?" Yoshi asked. "Kamek... I assume he's dead. Mario finished him." Luigi said, casually pointing to where Kamek fell. "Wait what?! That means we haven't won!! Now I remember!!! AHH!!" Yoshi screamed, and pushed aside the Mario Bros. "We must invade the Kingdom, you guys will never get in time!" Yoshi continued, and dashed off. "He's still entranced!" Luigi said. "Yup..." Mario replied, and facepalmed. Then, a screen appeared on the balcony edge. The screen turned on, and Bowser appeared. "Why hello there! Super Idiot Bros! Kamek knew he'd get defeated, and that's why he has done some transferring so no Yoshi is out of our control! Not even the real deal! So don't worry, for your kingdom is toast! HA HA HAHAHA!" Bowser ended laughing, and the screen self destructed. "Mario! They're heading over to destroy everything!" Luigi said, panicking. "Well, not going to happen!" Mario said, and saw an airship fly by. "And we found our fast route!" "Alright... Let's a go!" Luigi said, and he and Mario jumped towards the ship, to infiltrate it.
