The Mario Bros. Have yet one more problem to solve, as the Kingdom is being stormed by Bowser and his new Yoshi army! How will they get out of this one?! "Doesn't this place look comfortable, Luigi?" Mario said, while he steered the recently taken airship. "Anything that has Bowser's face on it is bound to not be of any good, let alone comfortable." Luigi said, and rolled his eyes. "At least the Shy Guys weren't that hard to take out." "Yeah... Oh well." Mario said, as he started noticing more airships pass by them. "Huh?" "Did we get caught?!" Luigi exclaimed, and started frantically looking around the ship. "What are you looking for?" Mario asked, noticing more and more ships. "I'm looking for a Shy Guy costume, of course! I could easily blend with the rest of the guys... I think." Luigi answered. "Oh." Mario said, and looked through a window. "Oh no... Now I know why there's a lot of ships around!" Mario said, distressed. "What is it?" Luigi looked through the window as well, and gulped. Many ships surrounded the sky of the Mushroom Kingdom, which was being raided by the Koopa Troop, and many Yoshis. Bowser could be seen at the center, enjoying everything. "Bowser's got the kingdom! We're late!" Luigi lamented. "No we aren't! We're going to defeat Bowser, rescue the princess and the Yoshis, and bust his plan for good!" Mario said, motivated. He looked around, and his eyes glinted with mischievousness. "Let's blast him a little surprise to let him know that we've come to visit!" Mario said and grinned. Luigi nodded, skeptical. Down there, in the middle of the road, Bowser stood on a tank, eyeing the surroundings. "Ha ha ha! This could not have been any more excellent! This is true chaos!" Bowser said, and chuckled. He looked around the crazed environment. Kamek laughed slightly too. "Yes, my king. The Toads are panicking, soon to surrender. The Yoshis are on our side, with no resistance. Even their leader is with us." He explained with a smile on his face. "This won't stay like this, Bowser!! Mario is coming to restore peace!" Peach yelled, encased in a cage besides The Koopa King himself. "Sure, sure! In fact, I'm ecstatic for them to arrive! They got more coming than what meets the eye!" Bowser laughed while he talked to the Princess. She only sighed, and rolled her eyes. "Bowser! We got a transmission from the Captain of the Airship Fleet!" Kamek said hurriedly to Bowser. "Then show it! It must be important!" Bowser replied, and Kamek made a holographic screen appear. It picked up the signal, and a Goomba got on the line. "Lord Bowser! We got trouble!" The Goomba, who had a captain's hat on, stated frantically. "How so?! What is it?!" "The Mario Brothers! They have seized one of our ships and are taking the fleet down with it!" The Goomba explained, and Bowser sprung alert. "Then what are you waiting for?! Stop them!" Bowser yelled. The minion was about to say something else when suddenly a blast interrupted his talk. "Yes! O-on it!" The Goomba looked around to shut the camera, but suddenly noticed something. "What is it?!" Bowser kept impatiently asking. "Didn't he say he was excited for them to get here...?" Peach asked, confused. "That's how he is. Pretty odd." Kamek answered. "When is he not..." Peach said back, and rolled her eyes. "Lord Bowser! I've got good news, and bad news!" The Goomba started. "Good comes first!" Bowser said, and the Goomba nodded. "Alright! The good news, we found the Mario Bros.! They're behind us!" The minion happily said. "And the bad?" Bowser asked and approached the camera, expecting the worst. "Uh... LOOK OUTSIDE!!! AHHHH!!!!" The Goomba kept screaming, and the connection cut off. "What the?!" Bowser looked to a side. "Oh my GOODNESS!!" He screamed at the scene. All his ships surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom skies started tumbling down, in searing flames and smoke. They all crashed on the ground, right on Bowser's many troops. "My army! My ships! They're all going down!!" Bowser eyed the place, in order to find the culprit. He saw a ship, different among the rest, in the sense that it was still standing, with no hits whatsoever. "WHO'S THE TRAITOR UP THERE?! SHOW YOURSELF!!" Bowser screamed demandingly. The ship started approaching him at fast speeds. "Kamek! Detour this ship! Now!" He ordered, and Kamek nodded. With a swing of his wand, the ship had driven off road, and crashed into some trees. "Job done, sir." "Good. Now, who was driving the ship?" "Us!" A familiar voice rang behind the King. "Oh no." Said Bowser. "Oh yes!" Said Peach. Bowser turned around, and well enough, there were the Mario Bros. "Well, it was mostly Mario. I don't know how to drive a ship." Luigi said, pointing to Mario. "Yeah! I didn't even know I could drive such a piece of junk!" Mario added, and chuckled. "SHUT UP!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE DOWN MY ARMY!!!" Bowser incessantly yelled at the Bros., Mario unscathed by his screams. "Maybe that's what I'm supposed to do?" Mario shrugged. Bowser was about to yell something else, but then he remembered something. "Yes... But, I don't only need my Koopa Troop! Kamek!" "On it, sir." Kamek said, and rang an alarm. "Huh?!" The Bros. Said collectively, as they got pushed off where Bowser and Peach were standing, the retro styled, larger tank. "I didn't know we stood on that!" Luigi said. "Me neither..." Mario's thinking was suddenly interrupted by yet another familiar voice. "Hey Mario! Luigi!" The voice called, and the brothers turned around to answer, but their jaws dropped instead. "Mamma Mia!!!" They said collectively, and looked. "Ready for an Island wide beating?!" The voice was none other than Yoshi himself, with glistening red eyes, and an angered look. Behind him we're thousands upon thousands of Yoshis, looking quite menacingly. "Har har! What do you think of my new, versatile Yoshi Army?! They can do everything I need them to do!" Bowser proudly stated. "But on this case, I need them to..." He continued. "ATTACK THE MARIO BROS.!! NOW!" He ordered loudly, and his tank drove off, with Peach and Kamek. The Yoshis started charging towards the duo. "What do we do Mario?! I don't wanna fight my way through Yoshis!" Luigi said, scared. "Easy! We f- ...." Mario stooped, and looked at Luigi. "I don't have the heart to do it!" "What about Smash Bros?!" Mario asked. "I don't have any other option there! Besides, it's not that they die permanently, or that the fights leave us in bad conditions..." Luigi explained. "That's actually a very good point." Mario said, but shook his head. "It is, but you have no other choice here either! They're tricked in being against us! We may just need to get Kamek!" He yelled, and suddenly stopped. "... Uh?" "Luigi, you are a genius!" Mario said and patted him in a shoulder. "I am?" "Yes! If we get Kamek, we defeat him, take the wand, break it, the Yoshi's will be free!" Mario stated. "But first, let's have some fun..." "What do you mean?" Luigi asked, but then noticed Mario running ahead. "Oh yeah!! The Yoshis!!" He realized, and started running, with the Yoshis right after them. "Keep up bro! If we want to reach Bowser, we must backfire his new army!" Mario said, and started jumping on the Yoshis on their saddles, easily making his way around. "Alright! However you're doing that..." Luigi replied, and made his way around as Mario did. Shortly after, he managed to jump out the Yoshi stampede. "We're out!" Luigi said, but noticed something missing. "... Mario?" "LUIGI! OVER HERE!" He heard Mario call out, and turned back. Mario waved his hand around, as the stream of Yoshis carried him away. "Mario!" Luigi started panicking, trying to come up with something. He then remembered Mario's plan. "I'm not going to let Bowser get away with this! I'll defeat him, with Mario or not!" He continued, and prepared his cap. "HEY DINOS! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG DIRECTION!!" Luigi screamed towards the Yoshis, and started mocking them. They took a sudden stop, and turned around to look at Luigi. "..." Yoshi made his way to the front of the Yoshis, carrying a knocked out Mario with him. "What are you waiting for idiots?! GET HIM!" He started dashing towards Luigi, and so did everyone. "Mamma Mia! I'm off!!" Luigi started running too, straight to Bowser's tank. "I don't think the Loser Bros. can deal with that lot of enemies! They're overwhelmed!" Bowser said, looking around. "Are you sure about that, Bowser?!" Peach said, and pointed to a little green spot moving ahead of many different colored ones. "Excuse me?" He carefully looked. "WHAT?!" The spots cleared into view, being Luigi and the Yoshis in hot pursuit behind. "Out of both of the brothers, it's Luigi who's standing?! This isn't right." Bowser said, and jumped. "But they're bringing Mario! Excellent!" He happily said, and looked at Kamek. "Clean Luigi off our view! Now!" "As you wish." Kamek nodded, and shot a few spells at Luigi. "Not now!" Luigi said and dodged one. "Not never!" He said again and jumped past the other. The spells blasted a few Yoshis, sending them flying. Bowser facepalmed. "Not like that! Luigi's good at this! Speed up the YOSHIS!" "Alright sir, as you say!" Kamek said. "Should have been more specific..." He continued quietly. He prepared another spell and shot it, this time reaching the Yoshis. The Yoshis started to pick up speed towards Luigi. "Huh? I'm not tired! What's going on?" Luigi said as he noticed the many steps get near him. Before he could turn back, the Yoshis had reached him, and ran him over. "Luigi!!" The Princess called out, shocked. Mario had been K'O'd and Luigi was down as well. "Ha ha! That was amazing!! Bring me Mario, my dinos!" Bowser said, and laughed. Yoshi jumped out of the stampede towards Bowser, with Mario in hand. "Mario's successfully been taken down, King Bowser." He said, and put him on the ground, right as he started to wake up. "Wah... What's going on?" Mario looked around, dizzy. "What's going on is that I HAVE WON!" Bowser said, grabbing Mario. "WHAT?!" Mario jolted awake, and tried to escape. "Man... This is how it feels to be Peach doesn't it?" He said, defeated. "Accurate..." Peach answered. "Well, wanna feel more like Peach?! In you go!!" Bowser chuckled, opened the cage Peach was in, and threw Mario on it. Yoshi approached the cage, and closed it while laughing. "I don't know how to feel about this... I'm caged with the princess, by my best friend... The roles are just crazy today!" Mario commented. "Indeed..." Peach added. "Where's Luigi?" Mario asked. "There!" Peach replied, and pointed to a unconscious Luigi on the ground. "He's there?! TAKE HIM OUT!" Bowser yelled, and all the Yoshis lunged at Luigi, scrambling to get him. "No!!" Mario and the Princess said in unison, and after a few seconds, the Yoshis separated, leaving a single green cap in the middle. "... Luigi..." "No need to cry, Mario! Luigi's now going to bother no one!" Yoshi said, looking at Mario. "Man, Yoshi is more serious than me on this." Bowser said, annoyed. "Where did he learn it?" Kamek just shrugged, not able to find an answer. Yoshi started to pick up a smell. "Hey... Is something burning around here?" "No, why you ask?" Bowser said. "Sir... Your tail..." Kamek said, edging aside. "What's wrong with it? I know, the spikes are old. 1996 was a rough time for me." Bowser said, and looked back, to see his tail on fire. "WAIT MY TAIL IS ON FIRE!!" "Who did that?!" Kamek asked as Bowser started panicking. "Me!" A voice called out, and everyone looked up to a house. "Luigi!!" Mario and Peach said happily. "Luigi?!" Kamek and Yoshi said angered. "That's right! I can't believe this Mario & Luigi styled decoy worked!" Luigi, now Fire Luigi, said proudly, and took out the decoy, similar to the one the Yoshis had destroyed. "That is stupid! Nonsensical!" Kamek yelled, and shot various spells at Luigi. Luigi jumped over them, and landed on Yoshi's head, knocking him out. "Gah! Ouch..." Yoshi fell to the ground, and off the tank, making everyone exclaim in surprise. "He's attacked your leader! Get him!" Kamek called out. The Yoshis prepared to attack, but a fireball was shot their way. "Don't move one more inch! I don't want to burn any Yoshi!" Luigi said, with another fireball in hand. "What makes you think you can tame them, smart stache?" Kamek said, pointing his wand to Luigi. "Don't move either." "Yikes! I didn't think that one through..." "Mario! We need to help Luigi somehow!" Peach whispered to Mario. "But how?" Mario asked. "Hmm... That's a good question..." Peach said back. Meanwhile, Kamek and Luigi seemed to move around in a short circle, one now facing the other. "Facing me is not going to make this part any easier." Kamek said. "That's what you think..." Luigi said, scanning Kamek to land a hit. "Alright... Argh... I'm back!" Bowser said, with his tail burnt, but no longer on fire. "Now, Luigi! Accept it! You cannot win now! Your bro is behind bars, your friends are with me, and we're obviously stronger!" He continued. "... Well..." Luigi started getting nervous, but something caught his eye. "Your Yoshis would like to say otherwise!!!" He yelled, and threw there fireballs at a Yoshi. "Ha! That will backfire on ya! YOU! DEFLECT IT!" The Yoshi grabbed the fireballs with his tongue, and spat them back in random directions. "I should say the same, Mr. Bowser." Luigi said formally,and dusted off his clothes. A fireball whizzed right by Bowser. "Sure." The other fell on the tank, which was wooden, and caught fire. "... Uh..." The third had fell on Kamek's hand. "OUCH! IT BURNS!" He screamed and let go of his wand. "Gotcha!" Luigi rushed and grabbed the wand. "What are you doing?!" Bowser yelled. "Just checking if this wand ain't cheap! You don't want knock off magic to defeat the Super Mario Bros., Right?" Luigi said, and started grinning. "Don't you dare..." Kamek said, his hand no longer on fire. "Oops!" Luigi said carelessly, and snapped Kamek's wand in two with his knee, as if he broke a pencil. "NO!!!" Both Bowser and Kamek screamed. "Oh yeah!!" Mario and Peach celebrated. The spell the Yoshis were under had been undone. They all looked around, confused. They started asking others what was going on. "This is not over!" Bowser said as a control panel appeared behind him. "But it would be if someone did... THIS!" Luigi yelled, and flung a wave of fireballs towards Bowser. "Not again!!" Bowser threw himself aside, tumbling the cage where Mario and Peach were over the tank. The fireballs landed all over the control panel, effectively destroying it. The tank started to shake erratically. "I hate you so much more than Mario now." Bowser grunted. "Everyone! RETREAT!" Luigi ordered, and the Yoshis started dashing away from the tank's vicinity, some of them helping take the cage away too. Amidst all the chaos, Luigi grabbed the unconscious Yoshi, and took him away too. "Well Lord, you've been rehearsing your phrase quite a while." Said Kamek. "You can say it now.". "Yeah... What gives." Bowser agreed, as the tank started to explode. "CURSE YOU MARIO BROTHERS!!!!!" He screamed as the tank exploded spectacularly, sending the Koopa King and Kamek flying to the skies. Everyone celebrated as the tank blasted, and Bowser and Kamek flew away too. Toads started to come out from everywhere, glad the invasion was over, and remaining members of the Koopa Troop hastily retreated in panic. "You saved us, Luigi!" Peach said, as Luigi unlocked the cage. "Yeah bro! You did amazing!" Mario added. "I... Did?" Luigi asked, looking at Mario. "Yes! You were awesome there! You managed to take on Bowser and the Yoshis alone, and you didn't slow down your pace! You're more than what you seem! You saved the Mushroom Kingdom, and Yoshi's Island!" Mario explained. "Thanks... Mario!" Luigi said happily, crying tears of joy, and hugged his brother. "If Daisy were here... She would have been amazed. That's for sure." Peach said, and laughed. "Yeah... Heh heh." Luigi said, as he let go. "Also, Luigi, where did you find those decoys?" Mario asked. "Daisy made them! They're just large size Luigi plushes, heh." Luigi explained. "How did they fall for them I wanna know." He said, and everyone laughed. "Hey guys... What happened? I feel odd..." Yoshi said, approaching the brothers. "Well, it's a long story." Mario answered. "And Luigi can tell you it pretty clearly!" Peach added. "Yeah! For now, let's get things back together." Luigi said. As such, the Mario Bros. High fived, and with Peach and Yoshi, they prepared to restore the place, and for more adventures as well. [-The End-] For now...!
