Say, we've been having some tough stuff after Yoshi rescued M. Para Koopa and temporarily defeated Kamek. So to cool things off, Yoshi and M. Para Koopa headed off again to the galaxies, to have fun testing the various Power Ups that these games offer to us. They first arrive at the Honeyhive Galaxy, where the first Power-Up is located: The Bee Mushroom. "Hey, this place looks so nice!" Yoshi said, walking around. "Yeah... The spacey area at the bottom is what makes it clear that we're still in space :P" M. Para Koopa said, looking down the planet. Then, 2 bees with spears and malicious grins approached the duo. "So, you guys new here?" One of the bees asked. "You must go say hello to the Queen, because you arrived at her grounds, and so must do the new people." The other one said, lowering his grin. "Yeah, we're gonna do tha-" Yoshi said when he got interrupted by the grinning bee. "Wait wait wait! You guys are not going to go around here with that style, right?" The bee said. "Uhh, what's wrong with our style?" M. Para Koopa asked. "Red, yellow, green, white? What the heck?! I like flowers with those colors, but beings... It does not fit. You better rearrange that, or I'll sting your butts out of here!" The bee yelled. "So why do you have spears then?" M. Para Koopa said, and Yoshi looked at the black hole and gulped. "..... oh, well.... Just don't go around with that style!" The bee responded back. "Jeez, that's not how royalty acts! Don't listen to him, the style doesn't really matter much. Just be sure to go by the Queen to salute her, ok?" The other bee said, and left, dragging his friend behind. "Well, that was strange." Yoshi said. "Indeed.... What could he mean by style anyway?" M. Para Koopa wondered. "Hmm, I guess we need to look like bees?" Yoshi said. "Oh... How the heck are we going to do that?" M. Para Koopa asked. "Hmm..." Yoshi said, and looked at a golden, large ? Coin. "Maybe that coin oughta do the trick!" Yoshi said, and ran towards the coin, that floated atop the fountain. M. Para Koopa followed behind. "I wonder what it does..." Yoshi said, and touched it. The coin disappeared, and a little further down, a yellow mushroom with black stripes appeared, and floated. "Hey, I heard something..." M. Para Koopa said, and stared below. Yoshi ran down to the other lane under the fountain, and saw the Mushroom. "Wow! Look at this!" Yoshi said, and signaled M. Para Koopa to come over. "It seems a bee turned into a mushroom." M. Para Koopa said, and laughed. "Well, I know that can happen in Mario RPG, but I don't think so here..." Yoshi said "By the way, do you think this'll resolve the style problem?" M. Para Koopa asked. "Maybe..." Yoshi said, and ran towards the Mushroom. When he touched it, he flashed and appeared in a bee-like suit. M. Para Koopa, who was distracted, saw Bee Yoshi and screamed. "BEE!!! A MASSIVE ONE!!" He screamed frightened, and started throwing the Slurples that were nearby at Yoshi. "Oh man, I look nice in this!" He said, looking at the reflection in the water. Then, the Slurples attached to his body, and started damaging him. "Ouch! What is going on! Ouch!!" Yoshi said, and everytime the Slurples damaged him, he flashed red. "Oh... that's you..." M. Para Koopa said, scared. But he went full alert after Yoshi screamed. "OH MY GOD! GET THEM OUT AAAHHHH!!!" Yoshi rolled around everywhere, swiping the Slurples off existence. M. Para Koopa couldn't do anything but laugh. A few seconds later, Yoshi had managed to be free from danger. "Oh... finally..." Yoshi sighed, and saw M. Para Koopa laughing uncontrollably. "Hey!! What's so funny?!" "That, you.... blue things... HAHAHAHA!!!" M. Para Koopa managed to say as he laughed. "My suit?! Oh yeah?!" Yoshi's eyes flashed red, and walked over to M. Para Koopa. "Ok, ok... That... was funny... ha...." M. Para Koopa said, wiping a tear off his eye due to laughing so much. "Oh hey Yosh! Why you mad?" He said, and Yoshi instantly stung him in the nose with his stinger on the suit. M. Para Koopa stood there, taking back tears, and started running, screaming. "Who's laughing now?! HUH?!" Yoshi said. Later, they were at the Ghostly Galaxy, at the mansion, ready to discover another Power-up. "Man, this place looks scary..." M. Para Koopa said. "Yup... Let's not forget there are spikes at the bottom, and that any trap could lead us there." Yoshi said. "Oh yeah, I tested that already." M. Para Koopa said, and dropped a random Slurple down the spikes, where once it hit them, it flat out died. ".... How do you get those?" Yoshi asked. "Uhh, well.... I don't know. I guess they love me!" M. Para Koopa said, and shrugged. "Well, the door is open, so let's see what's up!" Yoshi said, and entered the mansion, M. Para Koopa following behind. While walking, 2 Boos appeared. "Wow, Boos... Definetly didn't expect that from a Ghost themed Galaxy... Right Yoshi?" M. Para Koopa said, and Yoshi was nowhere to be seen. He walked around, and found Yoshi in one corner of a wall, surrounded by 2 Boos. "Please don't do nothing please!!" Yoshi said, shaking and covering, while the Boos laughed and poked him. M. Para Koopa sighed and flew over, grabbed Yoshi, and put him in the center. "Why did you not do anything?" M. Para Koopa asked. "Well.... I have had a bad experience with Boos before." Yoshi said. "Really?" M. Para Koopa said. "Yup. Possession." Yoshi replied. "Oh... Well, now that we're here, there's a ? Coin there, and well, I wonder what it does..." M. Para Koopa said, and pointed to the ? Coin. "Maybe a new Power-up?" Yoshi asked. "Probably!" M. Para Koopa said, ran to the coin and touched it. It disappeared and a white Mushroom with a Boo face appeared in the other side of the room. "Wow..." Yoshi stared at the Mushroom. "I think I might know what's gonna happen." M. Para Koopa said, and touched the Mushroom. He turned into a Boo, with his nose and strangely, wings. "Wut?!" Yoshi stood in shock. "What?" M. Para Koopa said, and took out a mirror. "Wo ho oh! I look awesome!" He said, and patted his nose. "I still have my wings!" "Hmm, let me see what I look like as a Boo!" Yoshi said, and touched another Boo Mushroom. He turned into a Boo with his nose and spikes. "Hey, not bad!" M. Para Koopa said, and passed Yoshi the mirror. "You're right!" Yoshi said, looking at himself. "Well, how about we go to the other room to see what's up?" M. Para Koopa said, and Yoshi nodded. They headed to the other room, which was full of Boos and had some paintings. "Hmm... Boos are some classy people." M. Para Koopa commented. "Yup.. It looks nice though!" Yoshi said. Then, some Boos saw the duo, and instantly fell in love with them, and started chasing them. "What's with the Boos???" Yoshi said, backing off. "I don't know..." M. Para Koopa said, as a lot of Boos were surrounding them, looking at them. "Oh my..." Yoshi said. "Hmm... You think we are going to get out of this one?..." M. Para Koopa asked. "I don't think so..." Yoshi muttered, as the Boos got closer and closer, until a light that moved around the room lit both M. Para Koopa and Yoshi, releasing them from their Boo forms. In the blink of an eye, the Boos changed expression, and grinned. "Uh... You know what's next right?" Yoshi said and gulped. "Indeed...." M. Para Koopa said. Up next, they headed over to FreezeFlame, where they would test the upcoming Power Ups. "M-man... I'm.... s-so... c-c-cold..." Yoshi said, shivering every time he walked down the icy road. "You know, I'm not that cold... t-the shell that I have is very warm!" M. Para Koopa said proudly. "Y-yeah? Then wh-why no-no-not try to go into-tothe icy water?" Yoshi said, and glared at M. Para Koopa. "Hmm.... That's actually too cold for me." M. Para Koopa said. "O-oh, okay th-then." Yoshi said, and jumped to a platform, following behind. Then they stopped at the platform that had a ? Coin standing atop it. "Ooh, another one of these! A new item ahead?" M. Para Koopa wondered. "May-maybe!" Yoshi added, and touched the coin. A fire flower but with blue color patterns appeared in a mini fountain in other platform. "I knew it! It's probably very obvious by now." M. Para Koopa said. "Y-yup... Let me-me test it!" Yoshi said, and ran at the Power Up, and M. Para Koopa stood there, wondering what would Yoshi look like next. When Yoshi grabbed the flower, his whole body had turned light blue, crystalline and reflective like the ice. "Wow, I feel awesome!! WOOOHOOO!!!" Yoshi said, no longer shivering, and skated across the water, leaving large snowflake like platforms where he walked. M. Para Koopa looked in awe as Yoshi skated everywhere with ease. "Hey, get the flower too!! It's AMAZING!" Yoshi said as he triple jumped off a platform he made when he touched the water sprouts. "Ok!" M. Para Koopa nodded, and grabbed a flower. He had also turned like Yoshi. "Wow... I feel godly! Not much, but, it's something!" M. Para Koopa said, and walked across the water, and saw the platforms he formed. "Amazing!! Wait for me, Yoshi!" He yelled and followed Yoshi. It was all fun and games until they reached Baron Brrr. "Man, that guy definetly doesn't want us here!" Yoshi said. "It seems! I have an idea!" M. Para Koopa said. "Huh?" Yoshi asked. "How about you use your ice powers to make me a road, I battle the... thing... and you distract him!" M. Para Koopa explained. "Ok!" Yoshi said, and grabbed the attention of Baron Brrr. The Baron looked at Yoshi angry, and started firing Ice Balls at Yoshi. Yoshi then got the Ice Flower, and made a path for M. Para Koopa, while still distracting the Baron. "Ok! That's my cue!" M. Para Koopa said, and skated and wall jumped his way to the Baron, who saw M. Para Koopa, and called two Lil' Brrs for help. "Hah, come at me!" Yoshi jumped back under the battle platform, to get an Ice Flower. "I hope he's doing good, because I'll be going in!" He declared as he touched the Ice Flower, and made his way up. There, M. Para Koopa was frozen solid, behind a small and scurry Baron Brrr, and a Lil Brr. "Ah darn it... Why do I need to finish him off?" He facepalmed as he finished off Baron Brrr. Then, a Launch Star appeared. "Nice! But... How am I gonna melt M. Para Koopa?" He said, and looked at M. Para Koopa's scared face. "Maybe... Just maybe..." He thought as he grabbed the frozen Koopa, spun him in the Launch Star, and flung him away. "Ok! Now it's my turn!" Yoshi said, and followed. They landed on a planet, filled with lava both up and down. There, as Yoshi landed, M. Para Koopa melted down, shivering. "S-s-so cold-d-d...." He said, and looked his surroundings. "Wait, where are we?" "We are in the FreezeFlame part of the galaxy!!! Ha ha!!! Get it? Heh heh!!" Yoshi said, smiling. "..... •u•" "Well, anyway, we are here to see what else is in here!" Yoshi declared. "Cool... But it's so hot in here!! I don't think I'm brave enough to get out of my shell..." M. Para Koopa said, and blushed. "Hot? More like not! It's not that hot in here :P" Yoshi added. ".... That.... was clever." M. Para Koopa said. "Anyway, what can we do here? It's all lava." He asked. "Well... we can.... let's see." Yoshi answered, and wandered around. He kicked some enemies out, and found a fire flower in a bubble. "Hey, M.! Look at this!" Yoshi said, and signaled M. Para Koopa to get near him. "Wow! That looks cool!" M. Para Koopa said. "How about we touch it at the same time?" Yoshi suggested. "Hmm... yeah!" M. Para Koopa nodded, and both him and Yoshi ran over to the Fire Flower, and touched it. In the blink of an eye, Yoshi's skin was orange and red, and his spikes emanated fire. M. Para Koopa had his shell orange and red well, and his wings emanated fire instead. "Ah, classic Fire Flower!" Yoshi said. "Yup! Time to burn some stuff!!!" M. Para Koopa yelled, and he and Yoshi started running around, burning everything that could be burned there. That counts them, as well. Why, well.... "This is so cool!" Yoshi said, as he spun around, burning everything. "I agree!" M. Para Koopa said, and when he spun, he released a fireball towards Yoshi. "AAAAHHHHH!!!!" Yoshi jumped up and down, running as well. M. Para Koopa slightly laughed. Then, Yoshi saw him. "Ahh, again?" Yoshi's eyes flashed red again. "Oh!! Hey... Uhh... sorry.... heh... BYE!" M. Para Koopa said, and tried to fly away, as Yoshi attempted to burn him with fireballs. Now, our friends fly over to the Toy Time Galaxy, where one or the most dreaded power-ups resides... At least for the author of this book. Yeah... "...." Both Yoshi and M. Para Koopa looked around the galaxy, that was.... very toyish, to say the least. "I would of definetly loved to have Galaxy sized toys when I was little!" Yoshi commented. "Same! But anyway... what do we do here?" M. Para Koopa asked. "Maybe ride those trains?" Yoshi said, and pointed to the trains in front of them, with Toads atop. "But they're going in a loop...?" "Hmm, I guess we'll have to take them to get to the Launch Star." Yoshi said. "Or, we can fly!" M. Para Koopa said, grabbed Yoshi and flew his way to the other side of the planet. "Oh, yeah... Well, let's see what's up!" Yoshi said, and flew away in the Launch Star. "Uhh.... a roof?" M. Para Koopa said, and did the same. Later, after jumping some planets, they landed in one with conveyor belts, blocky patterns, and a ? Coin. New power ahead! Woo!" M. Para Koopa said, and didn't think twice to get the ? Coin. A gray and dark like mushroom appeared atop M. Para Koopa, and fell on him, encasing him in a spring like body. "Ooh... I feel... bouncy!" M. Para Koopa said, and jumped off the ground using his head. "My head doesn't even hurt! This is so awesome!" "Yeah... I'll pass out on that one." Yoshi said. "Oh... ok!" M. Para Koopa said as he bounced around. "Hey, you know what's better than being a bouncy spring?" He asked. "Uhh... I don't know, what could that be?" Yoshi replied. "Being a flying bouncy spring!" M. Para Koopa said. "Well, I think you could be that, if your wings weren't being trapped in the springs :P" Yoshi said. "Wait... I don't have my wings?!" M. Para Koopa yelled surprised. "Nope... You would be really Overpowered, honestly." Yoshi replied. M. Para Koopa blinked a few times. "NOOOOPE!!!" TO THE FOAM!" He screamed as he bounced off the planet, down to the bottom of where the Galaxy was encased in. Yoshi looked at the bottom, and saw M. Para Koopa fall at high speeds. "Oh... my..." Yoshi still looked, horrified. Down there, though, M. Para Koopa was still alive. "I WANT MAH WINGS BACK!!!!" M. Para Koopa screamed, as he got closer to the bottom. "Wait... if I am using the spring suit... that means that when I hit the ground..." M. Para Koopa stopped talking as he touched the bottom of the place, and bounced back up again at unreal speeds. "OOHHHH MY GOOD THIS IS SOOO AWESOME!!! AAAHHH!!!" He sped up and felt like he would crash somewhere. Indeed, he did. Yoshi was looking down, and saw something gray and Yellow dash up. "Hey.. What's that?" He asked as M. Para Koopa zoomed by, hitting him in the nose, knocking him out. M. Para Koopa gracefully fell back down, and ground pounded a Mecha-Koopa. "Oh my god Yoshi! You should definetly try that!! It's so exciting!" M. Para Koopa said, and made his way to Yoshi, who was knocked out in the floor. "Uhh... Yoshi? You okay?" He asked. "Agh... Tell him that I'll see him in the Toy Train Timeaxy... Ow..." Yoshi said. "I think we had enough Toy Time in here! Ha ha!" M. Para Koopa laughed at his own joke. "While Yoshi wakes up, I'll leave to see what else can I bounce!" He said, and left, Yoshi still unconscious on the floor. Now, the friends went over to the Sand Spiral Galaxy, to put to the test the newly used Power-Ups, and yet again, use a new one! "You should definetly try out this white Mushroom! It's sooo delicious!!" A Red Toad said to M. Para Koopa, and pointed to the Boo Mushroom that was encased in a crystal. "Hey! Yoshi! Why not test-eat this Mushroom? It's the tastiest of all Mushrooms!!" Yellow Toad said to Yoshi as he pointed over to the Bee Mushroom in the crystal. "Sure will!" Both friends said, and grabbed the Power-Ups. Yoshi turned into Bee Yoshi, and M. Para Koopa into Boo Paratroopa. "Hmm... this place oughta be easy with this Mushroom!" Yoshi said, and started flying around. "Well, it will be even more easy with unlimited flight!" M. Para Koopa added as he made his way around the sand spiral. Then, a magikoopa started shooting out fireballs at M. Para Koopa and Yoshi, and a Boo chased the former. "Agh great! These Boos definetly need some love." M. Para Koopa said, and floated away. "I'll recharge my flight here." Yoshi said as he grabbed onto the pole, recharging his flight meter to make it through. Suddenly, the Boo reached M. Para Koopa to hug him, but instead hit him, turning him back to normal. "Ouch! Darn you stupid Boos!!" M. Para Koopa said as he fell in the quicksand, due to not reacting in time. "Oh no... HELP! PLEASE!" His screams echoed the whole area. "Wha?" Yoshi turned as he saw M. Para Koopa's hand sneaking out for help in the quicksand. "Oh shoot!!" Yoshi yelled and avoided danger as he grabbed M. Para Koopa's hand and pulled it out, sending the Koopa outside of the spiral. "Bleh! That.... Was.... Scary." M. Para Koopa said as he dusted off sand from his shell, and spat out sand as well. "You Okay?" Yoshi asked, as he took off the Bee Suit. "Yeah, but I may not be able to taste something in a few days..." M. Para Koopa replied. "Well, now we're near the Moon!" Yoshi said, and both saw all the platforms that surrounded the shiny Moon. "Hey, I see some Rainbow like stars..." M. Para Koopa said. "Maybe they're, yet again, a Power Up?" Yoshi said. "It's pretty... Pretty obvious. xD" M. Para Koopa said, and both laughed. "Well, Let's go for the Moon!" Yoshi said, and grabbed a Rainbow Star. He turned into Rainbow Yoshi, and started running around the plataforms, destroying mines in his wake. "WOO HOO!!! INVINCIBILITY! :D" Yoshi yelled, excited. "Hmm... Wait up!" M. Para Koopa said, and grabbed a Rainbow Star as well, turning into Rainbow M. Para Koopa! "WHEEE!!! FAST!" He said as he followed Yoshi down the road, destroying mines as well. They made their way to the Moon in a short time, but had fun nonetheless. Before grabbing the Star, they stared around, and wondered if anyone with a telescope could see them from Earth. Now, for their final power-up test, they headed over to the Gateway Galaxy, for one of the last Power ups in the place. "Man, this place never stops being so soothing! ^^" M. Para Koopa said, and sighed in relief. "Indeed... It's nice as always..." Yoshi added. They started exploring around the planet, and took a second to look at the Earth. "I've always wondered... Why can't you see these planets from a telescope in Earth?" Yoshi asked. "Maybe because the planet is pretty far from Earth that it can't be seen." M. Para Koopa answered. "Yeah, that seems pretty logic." Yoshi said as he headed over to the Gateway Tower, where a Red Luma was waiting for them. "So... I've seen that mama really trusts in you... Especially you, green dino." the Red Luma said. "Yup, I'm friends with Mario, and the Koopa here is my friend as well, so no problem!" Yoshi explained, and M. Para Koopa shyly waved hi. "Well, I know, I can have me trust you..." The Luma said, and 100 Purple Coins appeared all over the planet. "If you collect all 100 Purple Coins, I can trust you, and my Power." The Luma continued. A Red Star then appeared. "This, is a Red Star, and it holds the Power of us Red Lumas." "It allows you to fly for a limited time, Yes, to fly!" The Red Luma finished. "Awesome..." Both M. Para Koopa and Yoshi said, looking at the Red Star. "Well, I'll leave you guys to it. Good Luck, and have fun!" the Red Luma said. "Well, Let's get to it!" Yoshi said. "Yeah! You get 50 coins and I'll get the other 50!" M. Para Koopa said, and both touched the Red Star. Yoshi's skin was a darker green, and the white area of his body was black, and his saddle and boots were darker as well. M. Para Koopa, on the other side, had darker yellow skin, and his shell and boots were darker red as well. "I look amazing! Yet again." M. Para Koopa said as he looked at his reflection in the water. "Woo!!! Haven't flied ever since SM64 DS!" Yoshi yelled as he collected Purple Coins. Soon enough, they had all coins, and spent some time using the Power Up. "Finished!" Yoshi said as he and M. Para Koopa approached Red Luma. "Ahh, nice. I guess I can trust you guys now." Red Luma said. "Well, now you can use my Power in other places besides here!" He declared. "Yeah!!" Yoshi and M. Para Koopa said and high fived. Eventually, they flew back to the Comer Observatory, passing through Good Egg Galaxy. "Ahh... Yoshi's hanging out just where I wanted! We'll meet soon... Heh heh...." A mysterious figure said, hiding behind the house, seeing Yoshi and M. Para Koopa pass by.
